Kansas City – RubinBrown LLP, one of the nation’s top 50 accounting and business consulting firms, has named Megan Knoblauch, CPA as Managing Partner of its Kansas City office.

Knoblauch succeeds Todd Pleimann, CPA, CGMA who has served as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Kansas City office for 19 years.

As the Kansas City office Managing Partner, Knoblauch will provide leadership and direction to the Kansas City office and team, and will be responsible for the reputation, client service, civic involvement, business development, and business operations of the Kansas City office.

Knoblauch is also Partner-In-Charge of RubinBrown’s Assurance Services Group in Kansas City. She has been practicing public accounting since 2006 and focuses on business combinations, investment valuation, and inventory reporting and valuation across a variety of industries. She also specializes in all aspects of employee benefit plan audits, including 401(k) plans, pension plans, health and welfare plans, and SEC Form 11-K filing requirements.

Knoblauch joined the firm in 2006. She received a B.S., in Accounting from The University of Kansas. Her new role is effective June 1, 2024.
