Shawn Becker is a Partner in RubinBrown's Private Client Services Group. He works closely with high-net-worth clients and their advisors. He has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting and corporate trustee settings, as well as in private legal practice. Shawn focuses on providing income, gift, and estate tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to individuals, families, fiduciaries, and private foundations. He holds a J.D., and LL.M, from The University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Law.

 

David Hornburg is a Partner in RubinBrown’s Tax Services Group. He focuses on business taxes and is part of the firm’s National Tax practice. David specializes in tax accounting methods and inventory. He also focuses on accounting for income taxes including purchase accounting. He holds a M.S. in Accountancy/Taxation from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Prior to joining RubinBrown, David served as a Managing Director at Ernst & Young.

 

Lori Givens is a Partner in RubinBrown’s Tax Services Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, primarily assisting contractors performing services across the U.S., and commercial and residential real estate property owners. She also provides business and controllership advisory services. She holds a M.S. in Business Administration from Maryville University. Prior to joining RubinBrown, Lori spent 20 years with a St. Louis based public accounting firm.

 

Kristi Walton is a Partner in RubinBrown’s Private Client Services Group. She has over 14 years experience working with high net worth individuals and families. She has experience in providing a variety of services including estate and retirement planning, family office services, and tax planning. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining RubinBrown, Kristi served as a Senior Tax Manager at Frazier & Deeter, LLC.
