Steve Sprague is a Partner in RubinBrown’s Consulting Services Group. He has over 10 years of healthcare regulatory reimbursement and payment experience. Steve has worked with a variety of Medicare administrative contractors to optimize reimbursement for a range of healthcare providers.

He has assisted with local and national commercial contract negotiations including modeling proposed payer contract changes for hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, ancillary services, and physician services, and performing risk assessments of various negotiation strategies. Steve has assisted numerous rural hospitals in ensuring that they benefit from the special reimbursement opportunities available through their designation.
